What I notice about the pamphlet's images, typography and wording is that, (and I know this from a friend who grew up on the west of Ireland on the family farm), there is considerable care to build a hedge around the Irish people to keep invasive ideas out. These vintage pamphlets from the CTS do not shy away from confronting (with dramatic illustrations) destructive ideas head-on.
