Gemma O’Doherty: Jimmy Guerin’s Campaign Of Terror Continues Tomorrow In The High Court

When politicians try to silence journalists, everyone should sit up and take notice. It is an attack on all of you.

Every day in the courts of Ireland, innocent Irish people are losing their children, homes, farms, livelihoods, good names and life savings because of corrupt judges, money-grabbing barristers and crooked solicitors. The legal mafia get away with this because there are no eyes on them and they can do what they want.

For almost seven years, I have been subjected to a vile campaign of bullying, harassment and defamation by Councillor Jimmy Guerin fuelled by his unscrupulous solicitor Kieran Kelly because I exposed the truth about Veronica Guerin’s murder: the truth they do not want you to hear.

Tomorrow, Guerin’s campaign of intimidation and fraud against me continues in The High Court. I hope as many of you will come to see how politicians like Guerin are so desperate to silence honest journalism that is unafraid and not beholden to powerful interests.

This has to stop. The judges of Ireland have to be reminded that there are still some Irish people left who care about the fact that they are engaging in and turning a blind eye to criminality every day of the week from the bench and destroying innocent people’s lives.
