Publishing a stamp-sized picture of a dead man which is already all over the internet is not harassment.
Asking how that young man died is not harassment.
Caring about how that young man died is not harassment.
Expressing concern about the pandemic of sudden deaths of young people all over Ireland is not harassment.
Responding to poisonous, dishonest and defamatory claims is not harassment.
Publishing an inquest report is not harassment.
Investigative journalism is the lifeblood of a free country. Judge Mark Sanfey is trying to destroy what’s left of it in Ireland and take your God-given free speech from you.
The latest in this High Court charade took place yesterday with Sanfey ordering Gemma O’Doherty to come to court tomorrow (Feb 23) even though he knows she is working outside of the jurisdiction.
He wants her to state that she engaged in the harassment of Edel Campbell and that she will not do so again. Judge Sanfey’s definition of harassment is completely at odds with the legal description of that crime and the understanding every sane person in Ireland would have of its true meaning.
Several weeks ago, Gemma O’Doherty informed the court of the following key points in this farce against her but Sanfey has chosen to ignore them.
Gemma O’Doherty has never had ANY CONTACT WHATSOEVER with Edel Campbell except to block her when Campbell was harassing Gemma in the middle of the night online and texting her mobile phone.
Gemma O’Doherty removed the stamp-sized picture of her adult son Diego Gilsenan (18) from the Irish Light website almost a year ago even though she was under no obligation legally or morally to do so.
Gemma O’Doherty obtained the inquest report into Diego’s death which shows many flaws in the investigation and many unanswered questions not least surrounding the son of a senior Garda who was with Diego Gilsenan in the hours before he died in August 2021. Why did he not have to attend the inquest? Why was his statement left unsigned? Why was the cause of Diego’s death crossed out in the inquest report and changed without any explanation?
At the heart of this case is a massive cover-up.

Inquest reports must be made available to the public in law and no journalist can be stopped from publishing their contents.
Edel Gilsenan is involved in a fundraiser which renders her case unlawful. Third-party funding by plaintiffs in Ireland is forbidden.
Judge Mark Sanfey is in contempt of his own court along with Campbell’s barrister David Kennedy SC (below) and Campbell herself who has committed perjury on countless occasions and is exploiting the death of her son by engaging in an illegal fundraiser and telling lies about Gemma O’Doherty.
