Gemma O’Doherty: Aaron Brady’s Innocence Shines Through The Judicial Cesspit Of Corruption
The fight to get Aaron Brady out of prison will be fought harder than ever after today’s predictable decision by the corrupt courts to dismiss his appeal
Those of us who have been shouting from the rooftops for years that the Irish judiciary is corrupt from top to bottom have been vindicated once again. The Court of Appeal today spat in the face of justice when a triad of fat cat judges Tara Burns, John Edwards and Isobel Kennedy dismissed all 46 points of Aaron Brady’s appeal against his unlawful conviction for the murder of Garda Adrian Donohoe.
They could not look at him during their brief charade which was over and done with in 17 minutes. 17 minutes to leave an innocent man locked up for 40 years for a crime he had nothing to do with.
There was gloating, laughing and fake high fives in the garda corner, revealing once again their contempt for their late colleague. This was never about securing justice but protecting the real killers of Donohoe whom the guards have shielded for 11 years.
The case will now go to the Supreme Court and onto Europe. The two compromised witnesses in New York who framed Aaron Brady - Daniel Cahill and Molly Staunton - will also soon be the subject of legal enquiries in the US.
The entire edifice of the Irish State is collapsing as everything that is rotten eventually does. As it goes into free-fall, we have to continue to be Aaron’s voice and be louder than ever exposing the truth about this horrific miscarriage of justice bearing in mind Donohoe’s real killers are still on the loose.
Once again, I’m asking all of you to support the campaign for justice to have Aaron released by sharing our videos, getting banners and posters printed and posted, and doing all you can to let people know the facts of the case.
There should have been hundreds of people at the Court today. If there had been, I have no doubt we would have seen a different result.

I "put my talk" on a member of An Garda Siochána today as he stepped from a Garda car ."What do you think of the dismissal of Aaron Brady's appeal in the CCJ this morning Garda?". He genuinely hadn't a clue what I was talking about so I took the opportunity to give him a run down on recent events. Hepaid close attention and seemed interested. He had heard of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe (RIP) and seemed taken aback when I told him an innocent man had been framed and is serving a Life Sentence for a crime he didn't commit. He was very young. Let's hope he has some bit of grey matter between his ears.
It’s not hyperbole to say, that it is really difficult to fathom how the people involved in keeping Aaron incarcerated, his child without a father, and parents in a perpetual state of anxiety, can sleep at night. Maybe they aren’t human. Actually, there’s no maybe about it. They are demons in human form. Keep praying.
